An entrepreneur in Parker designed a car that runs entirely on batteries. It's manufactured in Colorado, and the owner says he is not getting a bailout from the government.
The Current runs about 60 miles on a single battery charge. It has a top speed of about 70 miles an hour, and it can be purchased for $28,900. It takes about three weeks to get it delivered once it's ordered.
