According to FBI crime statistics, a car is stolen every 23 seconds in the United States. That means on an average day, nearly 4,000 people return to their parking spot only to find broken glass.
At this rate, imagine how many cars are broken into every day.If car theft or vandalism has happened to you, then you know the horrible feeling of violation and you have felt the economic costs: large insurance deductibles, out of pocket expenses to repair your broken window(s), and replacing your lost item(s).
Common sense is not always enough to scare a crook away from your car. In my eBook, I touch on all common sense ideas and attempt to reinforce the significance of such simple ideas as locking doors, but I also get into more complex systems of protection - ideas such as picking the right parking spot to take away certain advantages a crook has, and how to understand your car alarm better so you can better understand its strengths and weaknesses.
My name is Bryant and I have had a car broken into on more then one occasion. I am a average person, just like you, and I am interested in understanding and testing the limits and weaknesses of security systems, and to help spread information on how others can improve their safety. I have done research on various ways thieves violate security, researched counter measures, tested methods thieves use, and I have complied all my knowledge into a convenient eBook to help you better understand theft prevention and reduce the risk of you becoming a target.
