GHSA’s Annual Meeting is generally attended by 300-400 federal, state and private sector highway
safety professionals. It provides a forum for the discussion of important national highway safety policy issues and a platform for nationally recognized highway safety speakers.

This year\'s meeting corresponds with GHSA\'s highway safety reauthorization position: “Toward Zero Deaths.” This goal reflects GHSA’s and its highway safety partners’ belief that roadway deaths are preventable, and that the most ambitious goal possible should be supported.

The meeting will bring together state decision-makers, national and regional staff of the NHTSA and FHWA staff, nonprofit groups, the private sector, law enforcement, state partners and grantees, and many others to share best practices, strategies and plans to help move our nation toward zero deaths.
