Weekend closure required on Loop 303 between
US 60 and Happy Valley Parkway for construction
Construction to extend Loop 303 north from Happy Valley Parkway to Lake Pleasant Parkway will require a weekend closure to complete the temporary detour at Happy Valley Parkway. Please see the restriction below for information about restriction dates, times and alternate routes.
Loop 303 between US 60 (Grand Avenue) and Happy Valley Parkway
Friday, Mar. 6 - Monday, Mar. 9
9 p.m. - 5 a.m.
Loop 303 will be closed in both directions between US 60 (Grand Avenue) and Happy Valley Parkway on Friday, Mar. 6 at 9 p.m. until Monday, Mar. 9 at 5 a.m. for completion of the temporary construction detour at Loop 303 and Happy Valley Parkway. Local traffic access will be provided between US 60 (Grand Avenue) and El Mirage Road. During the closure, there will be no access to or from Loop 303 at Happy Valley Parkway. Northbound traffic on Loop 303 will be detoured onto US 60 (Grand Avenue) southeast to Bell Road, east to 99th Avenue, north to Lake Pleasant Parkway then north to Happy Valley Parkway.
Drivers can access southbound Loop 303 by taking Lake Pleasant Parkway south to 99th Avenue, south to Bell Road, west to US 60 (Grand Avenue) then northwest to Loop 303.Drivers are encouraged to allow additional travel time during the closure. The detour is designed to minimize impacts to traffic during construction of the interchange at Loop 303 and Happy Valley Parkway. Once the temporary construction detour is in place, ADOT anticipates relatively few impacts to traffic while the project is constructed.
